Whassup, y’all! My name is Devin, it’s good to meet you. I’m mostly an actor, writer, and stage-combatant, but I do all sorts of things and pick up new skills pretty well! I love putting together really compelling stories that shed light on issues that are less talked about, and I gravitate towards writing that mixes good humor with tough subject matters that challenge an audience. I’m drawn to characters who are filled with complexities and contradictions, who show that being human isn’t black and white.

I was born and raised an athlete, playing multiple sports all the time. Now that I’m an actor, I always look towards how I can squeeze every ounce of physicality out of a character and performance. That need for physical creativity and exploration is also what drew me to dancing, specifically tap and ballet. But I take the most pride as a performer in staging fights. I’ve worked closely with a lot of folks in the SAFD, and am opening my eyes to the bridge between fight and intimacy work.

I see my art as a tool to challenge the status-quo; both in society as a whole, and in how we collaborate in a creative environment. I always look at how I work with others, and consider how I can be a better collaborator each and every day. The better our ability to work together, the better we are at impacting those around us. The future is bright—but it’s up to us to make it so.
